This is the reason that the institution selected for study is critical – one has to choose an institution where one will find a spiritual home for one’s years of study. The Faculty of Theology at Kovsies wants to fulfil this role to its students.

The Faculty of Theology offers a wide range of courses and programmes to students who want to earn qualifications in this field of study. Prospective ministers of the Word are trained in a congenial atmosphere so that they may take their roles in their respective churches with confidence. Indeed, the Faculty’s training is recognised by several church denominations, which include, among other, the Dutch Reformed Church, the Dutch reformed Church in Africa, the Anglican Church (CPSA), as well as other Pentecostal and independent churches.

The Faculty’s training is recognised nationally and even internationally as being of exceptional quality. On the one hand, our students receive a thorough academic grounding, which is second to none. On the other hand, our training has a strong practical slant. Students who have completed their studies in this faculty will not only have the necessary knowledge, but will also be able to meet the demands of the ministry – and know how to do it.
