The Centre for Accounting is one of the major academic departments at The University of the Free State. The Centre aims at academic excellence through professionalism, effectiveness and a code of ethics.
The main objectives of the centre are:
High quality academic and vocational teaching;
The broadening of knowledge through research;
Community service within academic and professional context;
Enhancing the image of the Centre, Faculty and University;
Liaison with the accountancy profession, ex-students, education authorities and prospective students.
