Are you a bright spark and in Grade 12 interested in studying at the University of the Free State in 2024? Do you ASPIRE to INSPIRE others? Then the Star of Stars Competition is just for you.

The Star of Stars Competition acknowledges top achievers in Quintile 1, 2, and 3 schools in the Free State Province.

Entries are evaluated in three categories, i.e., academic performance, leadership achievements, and community involvement. Ten finalists are selected after a rigorous judging and evaluation process. The Star of Stars Top 10 cohort for 2024 are announced at a prestigious gala dinner at the start of the academic year in 2025 or a Top 10 induction camp at a private game reserve. The competition opens opportunities for the finalists to excel academically through personal development, counseling, and mentorship.

We encourage bright sparks in Grade 12 to enter The Star of Stars Competition as the benefits and prizes include prize money, personal development, and exposure. Entries open on 1 April 2024 and close on 31 August 2024.
